Are you a linguist seeking a rich, comprehensive database of Telugu dialects? Look no further. The Bhasha Project is committed to documenting the linguistic tapestry of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Our mission is to collect and preserve voice samples from all 59 districts, ensuring that the full spectrum of Telugu dialects is represented. While Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema, and Telangana dialects have been extensively studied, we believe that the language's true richness lies in its regional variations. By making this diverse dataset freely available, we aim to empower researchers to uncover the hidden depths of Telugu. 

At the present time, the Bhasha database has over 2000 voice samples, making it one of the largest free database of Telugu dialects that we know of. If you are interested in getting access to language samples collected by The Bhasha Project, please email bhashaproject+request@gmail.com and include the following:

  2. Your Name

  3. Organization Name

  4. Organization Details / Website (optional)

  5. Description of how the data would be used
